Welcome to the Feathercoin.com forums raptorak, I heard about BTC in the very early days. I was young, understood it somewhat but thouht it really can’t be ‘that’ simple to make money online can it. Being slightly naive I didn’t dry it and now many years later I really wish I did.

It must be frustrating right now - seeing FeatherCoins so cheap and not being able to buy.
Yay and nay, aslong as I break even if not in it for generating money (yet :P)

I tried to make a Dwolla account, then it got locked down because I’m not in the USA
I’ve found it’s even more difficult to get money in most trading sites if you’re not in the USA. It’s not impossible, but it’s not easy.
Yes, they closed down my Dwolla account too, even though I was using a US bank account. Getting money into exchanges is easy when you’re dealing with larger amounts of cash ($50k+), but for most people dealing with much smaller transactions, many hoops need to be jumped through so it’s not even worth the effort. Just buy using other means.
Yeah, unfortunately this also cuts off a lot of people who’d like to try and dabble in the coin, it won’t hit this ‘public’ till a way can be found to purchase very small amounts without being crippled by the fees.
That’s pretty cool about Belgium. Bulgaria and Serbia seem to have the cheapest electricity. Bulgaria has the added advantage of having the second fastest internet speed in Europe (Romania is the fastest). Serbia isn’t part of the EU, and so is cheaper with general costs - I know big miners in Serbia (I buy a lot of my bitcoin from Serbia). When it comes to mining, Eastern Europe seems to be ruling supreme. From what I know, Netherlands is one of the more expensive parts of Europe in terms of electricity costs, similarly along with Germany and the general Northern part of Europe.

Hello, looking to help with advancing FeatherCoin to the big leagues! Starting with mining them for now, even with the high difficulty and low profitability
