@amdd It’s 6.5cm but i only because i didn’t wanted to make it larger. I can resize it to whatever size i need. The original file is four times a big. It wouldn’t even fit on my print bed which is 22x22cm.
Open with shots portraying the establishment, particularly financial institutions – The Houses Of Parliament, Bank Of England, Canary Wharf, Stock Market.
The message is that the money movers and shakers have had it their own way for too long and now it’s time for a bit of people power – There’s a revolution on the horizon, the Bitcoin / feathercoin revolution.
Introduce a main character. As far removed from a ‘city type’ as possible. Female would be good, youngish, maybe hippyish, Mother Earth type figure. Might be nice to see her as part of the community. Perhaps working with children, nursing an elderly patient, on a city farm, something along these lines.
The message here is that corporate greed doesn’t have to drive the world. We’ve got each other and community is what matters.
We see our character in a small village. It’s a 1930s setting. People pass and say hello, other’s wave from across the road. There are small individual shops – Butchers, bakers, single pump petrol station.
The message is that people were happier when life was simpler, there’s so much pressure in the modern world and wouldn’t it be nice if we were able to turn the clock back. What we want to convey is that in some ways we can.
Now we see our girl in a more modern market. She is carrying a basket. She buys something from a stall, but instead of paying, the stallholder looks in the basket and chooses something in exchange (a feather). Both look happy with the deal.
The message is that this is what Feathercoin can do. It’s about people, community, helping each other. It’s not about greed and fat cats squeezing out every penny of profit, to the detriment of everyone else. It’s how things used to be, when life was simpler and we cared about each other more than money.
We see our character involved with a community project again. Lots of smiling faces. The message is that people over profit makes for a better world.
No, my projects were mostly related to singal processing. From open projects I worked on this:
It is not my project, it’s just full of minor bugs that I was fixing for some game server.
I am at some image processing summer school atm, after I’m done with it in ~10 days, I’ll see what i can do here.
@ mohsin_mubarak Interesting project.
FTC is an open project, the admins and members have contributed the guides, forum and software to run such exchange and to “print your own money” by mining Feathercoin. Without the foundation of that work there is nothing to build on …
A project that relies on “cheap money” to succeed, is liable to fail, but I’d be interested to know more about what “Indian Market” is, in case we can help point to what is available.
i.e. FTC is the “printer” that prints the money, the admins maintain the printer, the forum is set up to train other printer maintainers.
The forum also has sections, like projects, usually hardware or software based and Generally FTC / Blockchain related.
Feathercoin specific technical developments, official and unofficial are in the Technical developments thread. Any non FTC related discussion can be held in Off Topic.
Feathercoin has a specific section for discussing Marketplaces issues, there is a specific sub section for exchanges. The moderators will allow a thread per exchange but spaming will be banned.
I have not fully looked into seg-wit, I understand it is a feature that can be used in future versions of FTC and may be testable in 0.11.
As such, I believe from previous discussion ( @ghostlander, @Lizhi) i.e. those that might program it, we need some custom settings for FTC. I do not believe those settings have been properly agreed.
In order to move forward, we have therefore spent a lot of time reviewing and fixing 0.6.x development line. The next strategic task to obtain further functionality is to release 0.11.x through a similar review procedure, then move so as FTC development is at Bitcoin head.
This is not a complicated programing task, in fact both @Lizhi and @Bushstar have documented it withing Github FTC commits. Any contributer could go through commits and make a list of FTC parameters and changes, required to patch head Bitcoin to FTC …
Where’as FTC have a small team slowly moving forward, or already having tasks or responsibilities >> hobby that could easily be accelerated with more support. Either completing some small task, learning part of the development procedure … all would help these new features appear.
