Top Man!The Sapphire stats aren’t mine though. :-\
Woops haha let me fix that
-
Two cards were replaced.
-
I have 3 x 7950’s temps are abit weird.
Temps are - 59, 69 and 89
Seems which ever one i use in slot one cant keep it under 89? I have to run this @ only 460 k/hash while other are on 600 k/hash with no problems.
Pics included below:

Slot 1 being the slot closest to the CPU or the one balancing on the soup (one way to warm your lunch!).
If it’s the CPU side (though the pictures imply that you are calling the soup card slot 1) then that’s normal for the gigabyte windforce as the fans suck in the hot air from the back of the card in front - great cards but awful cooling design!
If you mean the “soup card” and your sure all 3 behave the same then there is a serious issue there. Are you using afterburner or something like that to OC? Maybe it’s screwing with your fan speeds and preventing them from spinning up? What does CGMiner say about the fan speeds?
-
Lol ran out of beans ;)
The one cloest to cpu is the problem thinking of using a riser cable on it to see if makes a difference getting it away. As there are 2 cards close togther and if they suck air rather than blow could be the problem?
Use afterburner only thing changed is fan speed 100% all other settings are stock as unsure of oc settings. If i leave on autofan speed computer is i in ide state in morning and team viwer unable to connect and have to reset.
No sure about cgminer use gpuminer with intencity @ 18 on 2 cards getting 600k/ hash and 14 on high temp geting around 460 ish. Shame can get that third one bit faster
-
On the back of the 2 cards on the mb where you have the card outputs i have a pc fan blowing into there should i have that the other way around if the fans on the card are pushing the hot air into the colder air coming out of the fan?
-
2x5850’s using cgminer with the standard scrypt config. Nothing special. Both cards OC’d a little. Getting around 650Kh/s combined but I am solo mining.
-
How are you getting on with solo mining? I had all mine going for a day or 2 before the inrease in difficulty but didnt hit any blocks :(
-
tbh you’re gonna struggle with those cards plugged directly in to the mobo. The air gets diffused all over the place rather than neatly out of the backplate (connector end) which is fine for a single GPU but useless for multicard setups. Raising the card so i can suck in cool air rather than the hot air from the back of the card in front (clue: shut down the rig and feel how hot the back of the card is) will help hugely. I tried the 120mm fan trick but ended up with a bunch of 12" desk fans.
Go to page 4 of this thread for some pics… Pyxis uses 4x 7950’s and i use 4x 7970’s and we both came up with the same(ish) designs although Pyxis looks more refined ;).

Thanks for the help, will check it out and see what i can do.
Jeese Nut, just seen your rigs, what is the total combined wattage of all that? Gotta be touching 6000/7000W+ what are you plugged into? The Cooker or Shower ring main? :D
-
Just shy of 7000w including the fans and the AC unit which runs on fan only mode most of the time (anothe 1.5kw when it gets too hot).
All running from the neighbours shed! :-X

Several machines running multiple or single cards at PC repair shop in Burbank.
7950 -550k

Joking aside i have a separate 40A breaker at the house attached to ~50m of 10mm SWA that runs down to my cabin where there’s another CU that has 2 circuits for the miners (3 on 1, 2 on the other). I did try them all on 1 circuit for shits and giggles but the 2.5mm T&E got rather hot! :-[
Yeah man it would get warm, it’s only good for circa 22Amps you are pulling around 30Amps :D
I wired my shed up to a 30Amp breaker on the MB, I have my own little hobby workshop in there, complete with compressor, welder, spray booth, temp controlled curing cabinet (except my miner is currently set up in that :) ) -

Hey guys :) updated the thread to include pictures. Please submit your pics I would love to look at your mining rigs and I’m sure others in the community would love to as well. Each week I will pick one picture which will go on the main page of this thread and will be called “Rig of the week”. The rig of the week winners will receive a 50FTC reward for their picture. Please include your Rig stats (Cards, KH/s, Temps etc) and your FTC address.

My single 7850 doing ~370 kHash/s at 64 celcius temp.
[just noticed 4 HW errors. Crap…] -

Stats:
1. (1) 7700 - avg 133 k/h - avg 76f ( I use this one )
2. (2) 7850 - 645 k/h - avg 60f (One died, waiting for replacement)
3. (2) 7850 - 600k/h - avg 78
4. (1) 7950 - 515 k/h - avg 73f
No overclocking and zero hardware errors on all of them…

Edit: Blah! Sorry the pic is so big!
Edit Edit: All of them are running Debian 7 with cgminer 3.1
