d2,

Would I receive better payouts by joining your pool while there are just a few miners currently active?

Rephrased,

Would it be more profitable to join a PPLNS with less users or more users?

I will be running 2X Gigabyte 7950, then branching to 4X Gigabyte 7950, until exponential growth is maximized by my electricity breakers’ ability to withstand the load.

Thanks.

depends of luck of the pool.

The way payouts are calculated, a smaller pool would be much higher payouts when blocks are found and depending on your share ratio compared with other users.

With larger pools, blocks are found more often, but your actual reward will be much smaller since many more people are also taking a share in the pot.

With smaller pools, blocks are generally found less often, but your gain will be much higher because there aren’t many people to split the reward between.

depends of luck of the pool. Thats why I like smaller pools like http://178.254.26.97:81/ and have some rigs on http://www.fcpool.com/
I do pool hopping. One day you win, one day you loose. Pretty fair with such a difficulty. Lottery. 🙂

• | Tip cgMiner

I like your pool. I can be in top 15 for the first time. 🙂

• | Tip peonminer

Thank you everyone for the informative answers. I will set up my first 2x 7950s tonight and join in.

I made Top 2 with my 2 GPUs. 😎

Can’t withdraw money from your pool. Is it normal?
got this message

Congratulations to d2 and this pool.
I managed to throw 10k shares into the pool in a period of around 4-5 hours yesterday. I’ll be back on again today and be 24/7 mining soon for you too!

2 x 7970s for a 24/7 basis, best I can offer x~x;…
(and a 6950 which’ll be run like 6 hours/day)

( Interesting but fun fact, I solely pushed your pool past the 1mhash barrier yesterday 😛 )

I was watching you do it too! Was wondering what you were running.

I do appreciate you and everyone else for jumping in early and helping us reach a hash rate sufficient enough to actually find blocks.

Thanks everyone!

Well if things continue as they are, you keep pushing out information and updates to us regularly, and I can tweak my GPUs effectively. Then you’ve gained and earned a Worker/Member/User/Person/Vaporeon for a month, or two at least. 😉

Edit: If you’re looking at my khash now d2 and are confused why it’s as low as it is. I’ve only left my fileserver and laptop mining at the moment and my rigs will be back up in around 5-6 hours ^^’

[s]Can you please tell me the steps you performed while attempting to make that withdraw or if you are still having this issue? Payouts appear to have been processed properly for others according to the servers ledger and transaction history.[/s]

Update:
I have tested and verified the manual payouts are working fine, however, your payout address is not a valid Feathercoin address…

So far testing the water, and taking a little gamble on a very new pool has paid off nicely. I just want to show my appreciation and thanks. ^_^
That and I spent 6 hours yesterday building and trying to fix a debian VM and hitting a lot libboost errors. (I can’t stand Ubuntu). I was going to create a small private pool between friends but instead I’ve referred them to your pool now. One’s already signed up ‘SpyTec’ and is a longstanding friend 😛

I was pleased to wake up this morning and see that we had finally found a block. 😉

So when do you expect to have the auto payout working? 🙂

As far as I can see, auto payments are already working and sending just fine :o (At least, to me :))
