[Dev] Wallet 0.9.6 released - source code locked

I just set the release flag on github to true for 0.9.6 and made 0.9.6 the default branch.
0.9.6 and master-0.9 are now locked branches, so no further changed will be possible.
I will enable the Linux distributions tomorrow… hopefully…

Current development branch is 0.9.7-dev

Many thanks to @aciddude @wrapper and all others who helped to get the code to this state and made the release of the new version happen :)

I’ve had to edit some of the files as the original setup file for windows builds with Bitcoin Branding.

See screenshots below, I’ve replace with Feathercoin images.

Windows users will be pleased to know, Feathercoin-QT v0.9.6 is released.

It’s a full setup file so @bitboy11 should be happy… :-#

I’ve updated the release to include the Feathercoin-Qt.exe, Feathercoind.exe and Feathercoin-cli.exe in a separate package
“Feathercoin-0.9.6-win64-standalone.zip”

It can be looked at as a standalone/portable package as well as providing the Feathercoind and Feathercoin-cli if you’re gonna do something fun with Windows Server.

The only thing I noticed was I get a downgrade wallet error on my P2Pool node. I also was seeing it on my windows node but no longer see that at the moment.

I wonder how they collect the statistics. On one of our seed nodes I see clients 0.8.7 and 0.8.7.2 also… ;)

@wellenreiter You are correct, when I have collected connection statistics, I had to sample who was conneceted over a period of time to get the full picture.

actually I emailed them about this, I asked them to update the graph because I was being impatient.

What they said was the Graph updates at the end of every day and the Graph will only show clients with a minimum number of 4.

So if there’s less than 4 0.8.7.0 or 0.8.7.2 clients it wont show in the graph.
