The link to the block explorer is http://explorer.feathercoin.com
It’s working fine for me
And many thanks for the hint about the wrong link.
We will update it ASAP

If you looked hard enough, youd realize that Im building under Linux. Thats KDE showing. Debain 8 in a box to be more exact. No, its not so easy anymore. This is the output of qmake. I cant “qmake && make” if qmake complains.Everything needed is already installed. Issue is that the lanquage files referenced in the QRC project file are indeed missing.Im using fresh .8 from github.Otherwise the file would be called more properly feathercoin.qrc, not BITcoin.qrc.
I wasnt getting this error before when building so IMAO where to begin to takle the problem.
I’m a bit surprised, as I see the language files in the master branch of 0.8.X here
this topic is really closed. I got it working by adding in p2pool nodes. Initial sync takes a minute to kick in. The rest is a Fedora issue, both with qmake and make, and openssl. Not GOOD. All my dev work is halted because of this “FEDORA” issue. Hopefully CentOS/RHEL wont have these issues, because if they do IM up shit creek. I cant run Debian; my backup sets get corrupted under Jessie. Versions below Jessie have zero BDROM support.(but yet somehow I managed to burn them onto a BDROM at 100% success rate) UBUNTU is not an option, too much is broken. Same with Mint. Running out of good distros that work.Dont really want to go the Mandrake route. Gentoo, EESH, do I really want to go THERE? BSD? NOPE. Tried that. ZERO burning support period. ERROR on track 0 write.
Cheers for the help, with this support issue. As you know our main effort is the Core Development and the forum, which some staff are very busy concentrating on. The issue of compiled versions and downloads has been looked at and considered, and I agree there are still issues and not many options.
We’re still looking for more “help” to spread the load, PM me if you wish to be put forward for some FTC moderator rights and team discussions …
I can only see a couple of things that could have happened here.
1.) The multipool did not update their wallet which is why there would be so many coins to send as it would have only been them on that fork of the blockchain.
2.) You have put your Feathercoin address into the a different coins output address on the multipool.
Either way its worth raising with the multipool themselves. And ask for the details of the tx where the coins were sent.
I don’t think the coins were ever sent on the real Feathercoin network.
Can I ask where you saw the details of the transactions that you are posting here.
I think the problem is that people are embedding hidden miners inside other software which are then malicious.
Chrome was advising me it was a malicious file too which is simply untrue.
The drop box is still a better option. Not many if any are seeding the torrent currently. But as proof of concept, the torrents network could be perfect for assisting blockchain initial distribution. (fresh wallets)
I have an idea that will create tons of blockchain nodes to download from.
There’s a p2pool mod for PoW i heard about that requires the miner to actually have the blockchain stored locally to mine… By Etherum. I need to read more, but it looks to be an alternative to PoS.
Your miner says it clearly: no support for cl_khr_byte_addressable_store. This extension is required by all current NeoScrypt kernels for the FastKDF part and the HD4000 series doesn’t support it. The situation may change in the future though.
ESET is not too terrible. Although it does “get all up in there” as well
I find it necessary to disable Windows automatic updates, as they can break stuff. I was on the ATAG web site (WWII flight sim stuff) and many people identified a normal windows update as breaking the game…??
Anyway, thanks for the post/warning
Find in the extracted folder from the 13.xx drivers following files
amd_opencl32.dll
amdocl.dll
copy them in you cgminer-neoscrypt folder
delete all *.bin files
Start cgminer with 14.xx drivers
bin will be generated from 13.xx dll files
thank you, I’ll test it
either way i don’t have $5K+ to drop on graphic cards to mine on wemineftc, with my current graphic cards i’m getting 650h/s… which is why i liked the asic option.
any how, thanks for your help.
Aim for ASICs multipool then and convert coins to FTC.
Use your ASICs AND enrich FTC buy support at the same time.
win-win
FYI, now that I know that the cables can be problematic, I ordered from this place on ebay… http://www.ebay.com/itm/331281827101 Us based, cheap, fast ship, and received 6 when I bought 5.
And the important part, I used 3 so far and they all worked with no issues!
