Okay, all you people in the UK, looking at meeting up in the home town of Feathercoin - Oxford UK.

So what will happen at the meet up as most BTC meeting as just a get to gather and no actual talk or business development at all. What will you offer that is different and will benefit people attending ? Only reason I ask is that most the meetings that have been about other things not FTC related are jsut a get together and nothing ever gets put in the spot like. Just asking as would be nice to see whats on offer

[/quote]It would be good to come up with different formats. One formal and one just informal. Both would be productive as sometimes a good chat in a pub can lead to great ideas that then can be executed in a meeting.

I agree with Chrisj, it would be an opportunity to get get to meet each other find out what we have all been up to in all things feathercoin, - put a face to the name etc, an informal meet to start with to break the ice - also think Oxford UK would be the perfect place being the home town of feathercoin - that has got to be something in itself.

I think a first meeting should be informal and organic. Conversation will be a little more open and a great start to discussing future ideas. A great way of forming bonds, bridges and networking too.

I may just swing by for meet depending on when of course.
Just as a thought though, if we want to gain a bigger group, London may be better as more transport links… Especially for the northerners.

I have more news besides the date, I’m on my mobile and out of the house :| Met with landlord today and and he is keen to have us meet there :) He is also very keen to make his pub the first to accept a feathercoin transaction :D That’s right BEER for FTC…!
