QR Codes + Stickers/Flyers = Guerrilla Advertising?

In an effort to broaden the scope of advertising the coin, getting the info out there to the masses, I made up this little QR code using the feathercoin logo posted by another wonderful forum member (can’t remember who, but credit to 'em). The QR code redirects to feathercoin.com. These can be used as stickers or put on paper/flyers and posted on bulletin boards, *cough* uni students *cough*, or wherever really.
Lots of underground bands are doing it to give away music and such and so I figured why not us…why not us?!

Guess what I just tried… if you have a higher resolution monitor, with some several seconds of angling the camera just right, it’ll scan if you have it as your avatar! So this is actually pretty big since if we all made it our avatars on other websites, some people are bound to be curious and scan it and some of those in turn will join :D I went ahead and made it my Facebook picture as well. -

Do you have a higher res version of the graphic? VistaPrint will do a small ~4x4in window sticker for like $7. I’d put this on both my cars. :)

[/quote]If we’re going to talk about selling stickers of these for FTC, I’d prefer the proceeds (portion or whole) go back to the community by funding the giveaways, pool operators, faucets/lotteries, etc…

This got me really interested actually. I’m thinking about buying around £30 stock of different ftc kind and then re ship within uk. Unfortunetly there isn’t that many people here from uk. Anyways any interest as of today? Looking to get stickers 5cm x 9cm, maybe some keyrings? Give me some thoughts, would be willing to sell for ftc or gbp within the community ;)

[/quote]It’s my personal opinion that something like a keychain is really thinking too far ahead. Keychains, to me, are for an established brand whereas we’re trying to establish the FTC brand here. However, I will not stand in your way if you decide to make any. It gets the word out and so, fundamentally, I’m all for it.
The only people I see actually buying anything like this is the community itself whereas we want to spread the word outside of the community. Before we think about merchandise how about we shift focus to promotion? That was my intent with making it, however please feel free to do with it whatever you feel will advance the community and the coin, that is the most important aspect.
