Iam ChekaZ from the Feathercoin Community. I’ve written a MiningTool for Feathercoin a few weeks ago.

What is it?

MinerX is an automated MiningTool for newbies. Its Java based (Yes you need Java to use it) and its combinated with SGminer.

This MiningTool does only support Desktop GPUs, so no mobile GPUs are supported.

The only thing you need to put in is your FeathercoinAddress and if you use an AMD card, the last two digits of your cardname (Fix is on the way).

Example:

Lets say “Getting Grafik Card Series…” reads out AMD Radeon HD 7900, you need to change the last two digits in “Waiting for Series” to 7970 or 7950 or whatever 7900 card you have.

How to use it:

Download the MinerX from below and execute the .jar.

If you only download the .jar you need to put it next to your SGminer folder which should be named “Neosgminer”.

NOTE: MinerX_Alpha_xx needs to be located in a local HOME folder & next to the “Neosgminer” Folder, otherwise MinerX may not be able to fetch Grafikcard information.

Drivers:

The new MinerX Version 3.2 is running SGminer which is able to execute XIntensity. To run this without any HW-Errors you need to have AMD 14.6 RC2 Drivers installed.

“old” Feathercoins are the same as “new” ones! - Good news :) - Try to import your walletfile before syncing the blockchain, or just try to use --rescan as start-option. If that doesnt work, please screenshot/share the errormessage.

Hype is only good for P&D, FTC had enough of this. With the new implemented features in 2018 we can easily get 1$ stable. I have absolutely no doubt that we will have a great 2018 ahead.

a good while back, we had a page where you could donate to certain projects to get them done by a developer. I want to get this back. Iam going to create a page on Feathercoin.com where projects and price + developername gets listed, when the goal for a certain project is reached. Developer should start working/provide his solution. - Funds are hold by trusted Members of this community & ofc 2FA.

Also there will be a new rubric ( on the forum) where you can list your project, explain what it does, etc…

This worked pretty much, but I dont have any “new” cards in there. If anyone want to give me an update or optimize one of these configs, please post below.

Nvidia I would always recommend CCminer, here is the best version:

Now you need to setup a .conf File in your %appdata%/Feathercoin Folder, which needs to contain following lines

server=1
rpcuser=username
rpcpassword=password
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
daemon=1
port=9336
rpcport=9337

Save that as “all files” and name it feathercoin.conf

Restart your wallet after you did that.
Now we need to configure your miner, for Solomining you have to point it to your localclient:

Create a .bat next to your miner.exe

Put this inside:

ccminer.exe -a neoscrypt -o 127.0.0.1:9337 -u username -p password

Doubleclick the .bat and it should fire up the mining and mine towards your local client

On the Feathercoin.com site when downloading the new wallet. The site says Version 0.13.0.0 then when i download the Windows version it says Version 0.13.1.0.
Which one is the right version to download?

either 0.13.0.0 or 0.13.1.0 both are fine.

It was just a label issue, the links already pointed to 0.13.1.0 wallets. I changed the label.
