Well, getting a coin listed on an exchange is a relatively straight forward process, what doesn’t mean that it’s a fast process.

Typically the way to go is to send tickets to the exchange’s owner/operator and request the listing of a coin. If many requests for a coin are coming in, the exchange owners see the demand and a chance of a good trading volume and then they list the coin.

So Gentlemen, select one or more exchanges and if all of you request Feathercoin to be listed, there is a chance you’ll get the owners convinced.

It’s an easy way to support Feathercoin, and no coding knowledge is needed ;)

It seems that you where removed from the newbies group, but not added to the regular member group.

CheckaZ is right, you need to copy/paste your wallet.dat, before you synchronize with the blockchain.

The reason is, that no coins are stored in yout wallet.dat, but only the private keys of your Feathercoin addresses.
During synchronization/rescan the client searches all transactions for your addresses and adds up the matching transactions.

Only after that is done, you see your coins in the Wallet.

In order to install the Feathercoin wallet and daemon on a Debian/Ubuntu system perform the following tasks:

• As Super user (or sudo) create a file named opensuse.list in the directory
  /etc/apt/sources.list.d

Then add the key to your system:

sudo apt-key add Release.key

• Then install the feathercoin gui and daemon:

The commands to start the GUI or the daemon are :

I just set the release flag on github to true for 0.9.6 and made 0.9.6 the default branch.
0.9.6 and master-0.9 are now locked branches, so no further changed will be possible.
I will enable the Linux distributions tomorrow… hopefully…

‘Not verified’ means, that the elextrum client has not yet received information about the transaction from the elextrum server.
I assume, you are doing a full syc. Please do the follwing

• check the current status of the icon at the bottom right of the application
  * green means syncronized
  * red means not syncronized and no server connection
  * two arrows mean synchronizing

• click on that icon and you will get details of the network status. You should see 3 or 4 servers, depending if your system supports ipv6 or not. The serverlist also shows he acrual block height easch server has seen. In the upper part of the information window you can see the block height of your client. It should be the same height as seen in the server list , or it should be increasing.

If there is a difference and your client’s count is not increasing, please close the client, wait a couple of minutes (3-5) and start the client again. The clients count should be increasing now.
You may have to repeat that several times.

Please provide your acrual cloent count, as the problem occurs in the ‘old’ part of the blockchain mainly.
