If you dont get any connection check your firewall. What you could also do is to forward the port: 9337 - afterwards you should get lots of connections.

            Hi kimmienine,

Has your wallet sync’d yet?. If not, PM me and I will send you a known good node and instructions on how to add it. There does seem to be a problem with 1 in 10 first time wallets taking time to sync. Currently, it seems this could be the same for Bitcoin or LTC on first startup.

It may go away as a problem for Feathercoin, as the network size increases. If not, we need to look at how the first network nodes are found, to see if there are any issues.

I’m having the same problem. The status bar says zero connections to feathercoin network. My inbound firewall rules allow the client to connect on private networks which I’m on. Are there supposed to be any outbound rules? I don’t see any for the FT client.

deleted the block .dat files (not the wallet.dat) in user profile folder and added -rescan to startup. it finally found 1 connection and starting to download. thanks for the hints posted by others.
