I want to create a secure safe wallet since I’m here for the long run. Creating such paper wallet on featheraddress.org will give me an QR and address/private key.

      How tu use this feather-paper-wallet? Found several app’s and site’s for bitcoin paper wallets, but can’t find any for the ftc. As I see it now I can’t use my coins on the paper-adress or even check the balance? Or am I on the wrong track…

          Thanks, all those explanations are not really noob-friendly (for someone who has never done anything such as mining or coding) but I got all my coins on a cute paper-wallet (at least I hope so, otherwise im f-ed :-\)

            Crypto currency is in it’s infancy. That is why there are so many opportunities to do something new, help design it, be part of it.

            We could really do with a guide’s on the more Newbie topics, I agree. Everyone has spent so much time making guides for mining, and testing the compiling new software. Even guides to history of currencies and the Bitcoin protocol.

            Peter has been completely open with coding, so you could even learn to program by watching technical developments and Github.

            Whilst you learning you can pass on what you found to other Newbies, that would be one way to earn some Rep+ for relatively straight forward but usefull stuff. I’ve even had a tip, once.

              Always in for a tip! ;) I might create a more noob-friendly paper-wallet guide soon.

                Some days ago I created a short description how to create paper wallets and the way to convert it back into your Feathercoin-QT wallet - described in http://grow-feathercoin.blogspot.de/2013/12/prepare-feathercoin-christmas-present.html . Maybe it helps.

                  That is brilliant, sradics Rep++.

                  I think that should have it’s own announcement [ANN] on the main forum…

                    Very nice indeed, I would like you to add to the ‘‘I tried it with my Feathercoin-QT via the Debug Console with the following commands’’ how to get to the Debug Console in the client. When I was searching for info about the paper wallet I did only find the codes such as privkeyimport etc but not where to type them, which is very crucial for beginners (I typed the codes on facebook but it didn’t work omg).
