[Open] BSD operating system - Port for Feathercoin-Qt ?

I was thinking of trying BSD sometime and wondered if there was a wallet port for Feathercoind.

Things are moving forward again and although a peripheral work this would be a great project for someone who wants to get involved in BSD. Shame astrabd did all that then didn’t complete the work.
I would suggest Bushstar (or the Feathercoin / Github Admin) Forks this work, the Dev team could then take push requests. It would be good to approach the open / free BSD community to see if anyone else want to be the FTC admin reproducible for monitoring/managing the Github issues.

Another option would be to update the port the BSD version of Bitcoin or Litecoin

with the specific Feathercoin fixes, once that’s done it should just be a patch, and should be relatively trivial by the use off diff, comparing source on the appropriate versions.
Another option, is a bit of work on a how to compile from source on BSD.

As an alternative I think maybe we should have a docker image for this. As it runs on most linux/gnu based OS’s and is pretty simple for people to get into.
