Neoscrypt Mining Pools
-
p2pool.neoscrypt.de is working on port 10554 for PXC:
cgminer -o http://p2pool.neoscrypt.de:10554 -u -p
p2pool.neoscrypt.de is working on port 19327 for FTC:
cgminer -o http://p2pool.neoscrypt.de:19327 -u -p
The pool switches to stratum automatically, if the miner supports it, so no need to specify ‘stratum+tcp:…’
Attention: The FTC-pool on p2pool.neoscrypt.de is already prepared for FTC-Neoscrypt, so you won’t get any valid shares/blocks before the switch over.

@Wellenreiter: excellent *haendereib*!!11
BTW, thanks to all the developers for giving mining back to the people.
-
Thanks for the info guys. will be ready for this
-
Coinotron will be switched to neoscrypt mining on block 43200
-
Have confirmed they are ready for Neoscrypt too.
this was the first place I mined FTC only 3 or 4 weeks after FTC was launched
-
P2pool server http://multicoin.eu should be ready for Neoscrypt also :)
Phoenixcoin: http://multicoin.eu:10554
Feathercoin: http://multicoin.eu:19327 -
Give-me-coins has been ready for neoscrypt for a while :)

Nut Nut is right : Featheroin has made every effort to optimise the change over, but has had to direct most resources at development and testing. It would be a large amount more work to automate the change over, which is a once only event. There are documentation and guides developing and it’s interesting to find how quickly the open source community can optimise a project. Good luck …
Pool20.neoscrypt.de will close and reopen at the change over. (as it has been used for other things / testing etc) it has remained up so far.
Wellenreiter has set up p2poo.neoscrypt.de to set your backup pool to try, after the change.
Attention: The FTC-pool on p2pool.neoscrypt.de is already prepared for FTC-Neoscrypt, so you won’t get any valid shares/blocks before the switch over.
Advice : change over to converted pool, then run p2pool node checker and re choose closest p2pool based on latency after change over has happened. Report any problems in Feathercoin forum support, members are standing by.
NeoScrypt is nearly here and we’re ready for it!
When we hit block 432,000 the pool will stop accepting shares that are submitted using the Scrypt algorithm and will start accepting on the NeoScrypt shares.
Unfortunately you will need to stop your miners and fire up the new NeoScrypt mining software that can be found here
Happy mining and spread the word.

also setup and mining with 14 miners so far

P2pool server http://multicoin.eu is running on Neoscrypt for Feathercoin and Phoenixcoin.
Blocks are found but on both coins but on the Feathercoin stats page the date/time when blocks are found is incorrect whereas for the Phoenixcoin the stats are fine. It’s the same server with the same p2pool software.
What can be causing this ?
Any other p2pool operators seeing this ? -
Could someone edit in ipoMiner etc?
This is the start of what will be a very very long list…
-
Anyone notice the difficulty for PXC main has dropped from 15.x to 6.43? also the p2p I was mining for http://p2pool.maeh.org:10554/static/#
dropped sometime after 4:55 am. Not sure what’s up with that, not that it matters to much since I moved everything to solo for now.
Edit: Reading back after my post I see now what’s going on, disregard.

Hamsterpool is NeoScrypt ready.
-
Ive made the updates of pools but I still need to put in fee and locations
-
To update the list:
Http://multicoin.eu is based in The Netherlands and hosted by me.
Poolfee is 1% but probably will lower it to 0,5% next week. -
spread the hashrate ! : https://ftc.theblocksfactory.com 0 % fee till 3/11

Hello,
can someone (maybe Wellenreiter) explain how the p2pools work (e.g. p2pool.neoscrypt.de:19327)?
So my question is, there is this “Global pool rate”, and I guess this is the rate of all connected such p2pools hashing together, since the total feathercoin hashing rate should be higher.
Now, if a block is found, are the coins distributed to all the people hashing at those p2pools? That is, if p2pool.neoscrypt.de has a hashing rate of one fourth of all such pools, then 20 FTCs are distributed to the people hashing at p2pool.neoscrypt.de?
Thanks.
Regards,
cu
