Hmm, it seems that I can’t post on the forum. So I’m asking here.

I tried to speed up the wallet sync process and downloaded the blockchain from http://cryptochainer.com.
After a rescan my wallet tells me that there is an inconsistent checkpoint and I should point it out to to the devs. Did I something wrong or just a noobish idea to download the blockchain from somewhere (sync process over network is a little bit slow). I’m using wallet verison 0.9.6.

Hi there, you should be able to post, once you’ve posted in newbies. It’s partly an anti spam measure. Raise an issue in support if you get further sync issues, like checking peer info in help console.

Hello @pepito84 - Welcome to the forums!

              We need more developers ! what’s your skill-set ?

Downloading a bootstrap.dat file is usually not an issue. I’m going to download the same one you have and test locally.

Hmm… now my wallet is ok. I deleted all stuff in the datadir again (incl. wallet.dat) and now it works.

Welcome! Any experience in building android apps? I know some of the guys are currently working on upgrading our Android wallet and could use another set of eyes on the project.

Hehe. pwrdwnsys all day in a loop! And the daily war against column based code instead of free (for who don’t know the difference! Lucky one! !

@AmDD Damn! Missed one in my table. So:

                          What I’m doing/working with @work Level (Beginner,Advanced,Expert)
                          Android Apps Beginner
                          DB2 Expert
                          NoSql/DBs Advanced

I never made big android apps. That one I created were more for testing. But we never rolled them out.
So my experience is not big but I would love to have a look. Perhaps I can help any way!

Still can’t post anywhere else! Thought posting here would be the key to get out of the newbe section. :sailboat:

And the inconsistent checkpoint message is back. :sos:

                            Wuah…
