Hook up a speaker too if you have one. You may be missing error beeps that will hint for an issue.

Also if using HDMI, try to swap it for DVI. I have a couple of card/mobos that wont boot with HDMI until the bios is set properly.
Shouldn’t the RAM be in the blue slots?

[/quote]Well im using the little converter for DVI. I tried the RAM in the blue ones too… no luck :-( also I read in the booklet installation that in the white ones they get priority.
Im still finding out where that pin is

Its normally a 4 or 8 pin connector on the motherboard

looks like one of the pci power sockets like on your graphics cards.
it will most likely be 4pin. The psu should have an 8 pin plug that splits in half with black and yellow cables only. It will possibly have a label of “CPU”
Socket should be near the CPU.

Found on the little manual where the pin was… nowadays is an eight pin. As soon as I got to work went and plug the thing in… everythin worked :-)

I had a similar experience with an Asrock Mobo.
No signal from my ati 5860 card
I had to update the bios to get any display signal.
Once the bios was flashed I had a working system- I sent one card back before I figured this out!
Getting the correct open cl drivers loaded to successfully mine was another story.
