Any help would be greatly appreciated, I have corrupted system files in win 7 and am going to have to reinstall or try repairs. Problem is that this computer in no way will go online to sen my coins elsewhere, to exchange etc… What are my key files to manually backup as I cannot even open feathercoin client due to socket errors

hello, i will try to assist you the best i can.

first i need to know some information so i can proceed.

        1. Did you make a back up anytime before the crash? If so you can retrieve the wallet file and save it to a disk or flash drive and then download client elsewhere and import wallet or move wallet file into client.

I haven’t backed up this wallet at all, so I copied the contents of roaming directory onto USB, after reinstall and new client install could I just copy those files into the roaming directory and be back running again ?

can you remove the hard drive and plug it into another pc via external usb\IDE\SATA adapter
Then browse the drive and copy the wallet file
