Hey guys please post the current stats that you’re getting from your GPUs and or CPUs on this page along with the temps of your hardware. I will make a collection of the best stats we find along with the username of the person with those stats so that if anyone needs help with their GPU or CPU setups they can contact the person or look through this thread.

Please PM me if you have better STABLE stats or if you have any other cards not on this list.

Please send us some pictures of your rigs, we would love to see your setups. ;D

Submit your rig stats and pictures

Each week I will pick one picture which will go on the main page of this thread and will be called “Rig of the week”. The rig of the week winners will receive a 50FTC reward for their picture. Please include your Rig stats (Cards, KH/s, Temps etc) and your FTC address.

    I have 2 x 7970s I’m managing to squeeze 555Khash each from @ 82C
    and 1 x 6950 I’m getting 480Khash from @ 80C

Here are pictures of these two ‘rigs’:

That’s a really cool rig man. Why are you pulling such a small hash rate off your cards? is it the heat that you’re trying to keep down?

  • Regular Member

    Im only running 1x HD5850 @ 310 KH/s 8)

Nope, that’s actually quite common for 7970 cards if you do a little research. 7970 cards are hard pressed for decent hashrates. Best I’ve managed with mine has only been 605khash.

7950s are a lot better suited to mining for some odd reason, and these rig was brought prior to mining anywhom. Had I of foreseen I’d pickup mining again I could of got 3 x 7950 instead lol.

If you can suggest anything, that’s stable, to get me into the 700khash region that go for it. Temperatures I can pull down further if needed too. AND I’ve been running OCs way beyond what most people do too. Pushing 1150 / 1800 from regular 7970s.

Note: As you would of probably noticed, they’re both Gaming rigs not Mining rigs. :P

Oh ok sheesh haha I haven’t really looked at setups for 7970 cards but if I run across any stable ones I will let you know

  • 6950 @ 475 Khash and 70°Celcius

    5770 @ 185 Khash and 58°Celcius

Both are previous gaming machines, real mining mobo and gpu’s will follow soon

I’d say say separate as he said gaming machines, although the 5770 doesn’t exactly generate ‘too’ much heat. A well placed fan with decent CFM will keep it pretty cool.

2 machines, an i7 desktop I recovered from the office and the 6950 runs in an Q6600 setup

The 5770 is a twin frozr edition so keeping it cool is no problem

The dedicated mining rig I will set up will be on the AM3+ platform

Goooood! Make sure you get a processor that’s low TPD to capitalize on your profits! x3
I’ve brought a basic Gigabyte mobo with 2 x PCIe x16 lanes to use my Athlon II 635 with. I’ll move the 7970s to that and make them ‘dedicated’ by the end of the week hopefully… All being postage is good to me xD

What parameters are you using for your 5770? I have 2 of them myself in my ‘normal’ pc and getting 120 ~ 140 max out of them.

  • 3 x 6950’s no OC = 1.3mH/s on Linux OS 24/7/365 - Currently running 2 x 550w OCZ PSU’s at present, on one mobo :o

I repurposed a few old computers, shockingly getting even 60khash out of some older cpus.

Main effort is my aging 5770 that runs at about 190Khash when I go to itensity 18.

Thanks for that question :) that was more or less what I created the thread for. I think that a lot of people with the same cards can share information about their settings to help each other achieve the right hash rates and temps.

Sheesh how are you getting 60kash out of old CPUs? :) what software are you using?
