      I have a 1983 Mercedes 300d and I’m having some cold starting issues. Based on what I’ve seen so far, I’m reasonably certain that Kevlar can provide me a github link to some python code that he put together that could fix that too. :D Nice work guys.

        That’s a turbo-charged diesel with the glow plugs, right? Check the block heater. If the block is too cold, it can rob the plugs of heat and prevent a start even with good plugs and wiring. You may want to replace it if you don’t feel an extreme amount of warmth coming off it after a few seconds of operation. Just be careful, those things can get hot. :o

          lol. Yeah, that’s about what I have it narrowed down to. It gets warm, but I’m not thinking warm enough for a Michigan winter.
