I put my wallet.dat file on a usb stick and now it won’t let me transfer the file back where it belongs. What should I do? I sure hope I haven’t lost my coins. That would suck.

What OS? If windows it needs to be located in:
%APPDATA%/Feathercoin/
Make sure the client is not running when you transfer and also make sure you delete the new wallet.dat file that the client will of re-created (presuming you have run the client since moving old wallet.dat to usb stick…)
You may need Admin privs, although not sure as I’m always Admin…

No user is truly an admin in Windows unless you login as Administrator.

            You mean like this?
net user administrator /active:yes
Like I said he may need administrator privileges IE: Run As?..

My dumbass had the client running in background and didn’t realize it. Once I cosed it, the file then transfered and the coins appeared. Thank goodness

                :D
Usual and easy mistake, Windows doesn’t like you forcing any gears, yet doesn’t seem to offer a clutch. :)
