Hey guys so I got myself in some trouble with my wallet passphrase. I was able to get my original wallet.dat encryption file back and I was wondering how you can restore it to that original wallet on a mac. Also, if I restore it from that wallet.dat original encryption backup will I lose my current balance of coins?

      Thanks,
      Jamie

Going to need a little more information here to be able to help you out…

Describe “trouble with my wallet passphrase”
Tell us what steps you have carried out so far, giving as much detail as you can
Don’t do to much more just now as if I’m reading the below correctly you have

An encrypted wallet.dat with coins, a single wallet install, a new wallet.dat also with coins, and maybe a forgotten passphrase?

thanks for the response, no more need for the support I figured it out. Folder structure was the problem.
