Great site for Coin Stats

I especially like the supply tracker, posting here in case someone else finds this useful.

    Yes, it’s a good site.
I use it when I need statistical information.

    I also like this one:

Great to get an overview, but you need to take your time to read it, if not used to it 😃

Thanks for that info, I’d not seen that coin stat site before. Nice to see FTC get a prominent mention.

You can see where coins have been bought and sold.

The lower scales is proportional to the number of miners, the more miners the higher the difficulty.

However, FTC changed the algorithm to be ASIC resistant. You can see during the FTC ASIC period the " mad Bitcoin style" difficulty doubling. That shows as a reduction in difficulty on the day FTC switched to GPU only.
ASICs are special chips, which is just made mine a particular algorithm. In order to make mining FTC less specialised, a lot of work was done to make FTC ASIC resistant. You can see on those charts where that happened.

The change of algorithm to Neoscrypt also made the measure of difficulty less. In retrospect, it would have been better to maintain backward compatibility of difficulty measure, by multiplying it back up, by the amount Neoscrypt reduced it.

We would then have been able to see how many FTC miners with ASICS changed back to GPUs…

I use them to monitor my place on the FTC richlist 🙂
