Error when using NSGminer V0.9.4.
I have been getting an error when I try to run the new version of the nsgminer. the error is:
Brig container validation has failed in BRIGAsmPrinter.cpp let me know if anyone solved this please and thank you.
If @ghostlander is about he will know if it’s a set up thing or you need to raise an issue on Github.
Yeah, I hope he can help or anyone else can as I search the web for answer and non have a solution. So for now I want back using v0.9.3 until anyone answers.
There is something wired those about using it. Let me know if I should put details up.
@grimreaperminer The details on your hardware, OS and drivers would be good to have.
Sorry about that.
Os: Windows 10 64bit
AMD Diver: 17.11.1 (I also have the AMD mining Driver)
GPU’s: 4 Sapphires Nitro + 570 8gb
Using: B250 MINING EXPERT Motherboard (https://www.asus.com/ca-en/Motherboards/B250-MINING-EXPERT/)
If there is anything else let me know.
So I want back using NSgminer V0.9.2 for now. As it still build the .bin for the AMD gpu. I was able to take those file in put into v0.9.4 and it starts working but at the same hash rate as v0.9.2. So for now I’m okay using it unless @ghostlander you say other wise.
@grimreaperminer Those kernels of v0.9.2 and v0.9.4 are interface compatible. There will be more changes in the next release breaking interchangeability, but improving performance and compatibility with the current AMD drivers hopefully.
