add vircurex to the list of exchanges, and for the love of god stop promoting cryptonit. you are also missing black jack @ 199.175.52.146 :-\ ~ check the thread for Free 0.3 coupon codes. You can wager this any way you like 0.1, 0.01 etc… although you probably want to work your way up if your going to bust the dealer. there is no insurance, its straight up blackjack for the Feathercoin masses. max bet currently 5 ftc. soon to be raised to 10ftc. just dont use cryptonit what ever you do.

Not sure if it’s just me or not, but when I try to download the updated windows client I get an https error. if I go direct to http:// then it lets me download.

I mentioned this on the bitcointalk forums in the FTC thread also.

Things are looking like they’re moving along pretty good!

:)

I think there we just a few issues getting the client uploaded, linked, updated on the feathercoin.com site. I noticed it was missing last night too, seems to be resolved now.

Great to see both how many new exchanges have added FTC to their lineup as well as the new pools popping up. Just joined a second one today after my first pick was making server upgrades.

My understanding is that only feathercoin.com was registered by the dev. Someone else bought the other TLD’s quickly and is using them however they please atm. See the threads below for more info and who it is (allegedly).

Best promotion strategy ever. Let someone else do it for you. Wankers.

Fun fact:
Feathercoin and Bitcoin+Namecoin are the only coins marked as having “low mining risk” on this comparison website: http://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency/
What could be the reasoning behind this? I think it’s automatically labeled based on difficulty fluctuation and since that’s fixed 188 the code thinks it’s super stable? I would give it a moderate risk level since we are chasing the retarget.

I’m putting this into the archives until I have some time this week to clean it up.
