[/quote]I agree, our jumps before were something like 27 -> 90 -> 130 -> 180, since the hashrate is still climbing i think we probally will rise again after this. The 41.4% maximum change is going to prove itself as a good thing i think :)

We are at 133 difficulty with 1.7 Gh/s.
340 blocks remain for retarget, should get there in a day or so. Difficulty will drop to 94 then.

Seem to be in quite a good place with hashrate and profitability now. Hanging around in positive percentages and readjust not too far away.

[/quote]I’d suggest that we will get more small miners on board through curiosity, just to see what all the talk is about and these will be somewhat less likely to jump if profitability drops by a percentage point or two. This is more sustainable long term and means there will be less swings.
We need to attract miners, but we need a better balance between hardcore profit chasers who jump at the drop of a hat, and miners who want to support FTC as a concept, and will tolerate larger swings in profitability.

7 blocks till retarget and we are already seeing a rise in hash. Hopefully we will have small oscillations and then stabilise.

Remarkably stable now. After the retarget in 3 hours the difficulty is supposed to drop by 0.5 only.
