Tomorrow’s press release sets the tone for the next phase of Feathercoin’s development. As one of our members stated previously, yapping about a bunch of features just fuels speculation. As we start reaching out to a wide range of sectors, it’s important that we’re very deliberate on our message. Here’s what being announced tomorrow:
1. The new brand name that’s shared between the 3 coins
2. The goals of each coin within the brand
3. Discussion about how services will now be shared by the brand (ex: BrandPoker, BrandExchange)
4. Comments on how each coin still maintains it’s own identity
[b]*** 5. A teaser website with a countdown. The countdown represents the first major service that’s being deployed under the brand name.[/b] Feathercoin is about to get a nice boost in visibility thanks to our partners.

7. The biggest obstacle for alt coins is merchant adoption – we’re about to take a major competitive advantage
Expect a constant media push over the next few weeks. While all the different director/manager positions seemed like excess to some, it was exactly what was needed to pull of this goal. We’ve spent literally night and day planning for the milestones that are being rolled out over the next few weeks. There’s a lot of moving pieces to this puzzle, I want to thank everyone that’s donated hours upon hours to make this strategy a success. For the last 3 months my life has been Feathercoin… I can’t wait to see what the next 3 months will bring. I’m working with our different departments in preparation for the NY Bitcoin Conference. We will be heard!
I’m excited about our future, tomorrow we take a new step together.

Personal Note: I apologize if I seemed a bit cranky these past 2 weeks. Coordinating all the pieces between Feathercoin and the partnership has been emotionally draining, it’s nice to see a light at the end of the tunnel.

Thank you everyone. Please keep in mind, this is the kick off. The real excitement comes when the website counter hits zero. :) We’re not talking weeks, it’s a much more aggressive timeline.

Just a thought, would it be beneficial to create an “Announcements” category at top of the forum where you place all these type posts, that you and just the global mods have access to create new threads? :)
