UK Newbie

Good afternoon all. I am new to both feathercoin and crytocurency but I am eager to begin learning. I found an article on NewScientist a few days ago and after a good bit of reading around (when I probably should have been working!) I found my way to feathercoin. It looks like a great new currency and seems to have a lot of the already established ones thinking twice.

If anyone needs an eager but still wet recruit for any projects I would love to help out.

Thanks for all the welcomes. I have been trying to figure out the mining this evening and have just started up my GPU miner for the first time after realising that Cypress was the name of my 5850…that took a few hours of installing drivers before I clocked that one. Less said the better I think:)

I joined a pool that I found on the forum here just to try it out for now (d2 for the record) though the comments seemed good.

I would love to have met some fellow miners but alas I have promised to go to a work do of my girlfriend this weekend and since she is going to my leaving party this thursday I fear I have no choice :D

Do you all run quite large rigs doing this? Mine is a gaming machine that I wanted to utilise during times I dont play (which is increasingly the case). Though I am not adverse to investing in the furture.

I like the open looking rig. Im envisioning some more polished wood and some brass for a steam punk feel lol. Do you have any fans pointed at this thing to circulate air or do you just keep it open?
