            Phi (“f”). The lower-case letter φ (or often its variant, Ï•) is often used to represent: The golden ratio in mathematics, art, and architecture.

            So you have both “f” and math represented.

              So besides some wonderful custom made fonts so far we got proposals for various Unicode characters
              A copy and paste Unicode character readable in most browsers across the world has my preference
              I came across suggestions for
              [size=24pt]ƒ Ғ ℱ ƒ ₣ Ḟ[/size] and [size=24pt]ϕ[/size]

              I suppose the feather symbolizes the coin’s characteristics of being smooth.
              In this context I believe
              [size=24pt]ƒ[/size]and [size=24pt]ℱ[/size]
              are best choices.
              To my feeling the first further symbolizes FTC being easy, light and fast.
              Since were talking about a new crypto currency it’s a matter of taste to go for retro or art nouveau, so arguably a better choice is
              [size=24pt]Æ’[/size] or [size=24pt]Ò’[/size]

                I have to admit that Ò’ is very easy to write and remember although my symbol is very nice for printing on coin like smoothie is making for LTC.

                  To symbolize the fact that feathercoin transactions are very fast perhaps the proposed Ò’ could be written in italic:

                      And thing is, if Feathercoin does come to have an underground market named Olympus, it would make sense to have a Greek letter as the currency abbreviation :P

                                    ahhh a Golden representative — you know that has to be my vote but i also like the “script” F and the one earlier F with c to the right

                                            I know people hate the 99 cents thing, but I added it just so you can see it as a decimal too. Anyway, I voted for this one φ24.99 but no one likes it :'( Oh nooooes. Seriously though, I think it’s unique and something different than the ordinary letters we see everywhere. Plus it seems sort of otherworldy like a videogame currency symbol or something haha. But if people voted for it you would make me very happy! ;D Lol
