I sold 1 item on the market and it went very smoothly. Buyer sent direct payment after a couple of emails.

How about a rating system (good or bad deals, speed of payment, item condition, …)

I’ve had one thing ‘sell,’ but the person appeared to be using fake details and never paid. Sent multiple contacts as well with no luck.

[/quote]It should also lead to a banning system, for both the buyers and sellers (sort of like eBay). If someone is continually disrupting the service they should be removed.

Just curious why a commercial auction script is not used for the marketplace that has all these features built in (feedback, reputation, banning, etc., etc.).?
Could probably tie in the forum membership and register with forum credentials.
