I couldn’t post anywhere else, including in the appropriate thread (because I am a “newbie”), So I am posting here.
If Feathercoin implemented Zerocoin, it would be the first cryptocurrency to do that. If Feathercoin did that, it would undoubtedly become 3rd largest coin (after Bitcoin and Litecoin), and possibly even 2nd largest coin (after Bitcoin).
Bitcoin evolves to be compliant with regulations, and that may be a good thing, or a bad thing, but any way - these is currently no truly anonymous currency on the market, and the FIRST one to become truly anonymous, will keep that name for the rest of it’s existence. Bitcoin was the FIRST cryptographic currency, Litecoin was the FIRST Scrypt based cryptographic currency, and Feathercoin has the chance to become the FIRST totally anonymous cryptographic currency.

But is that a good thing or a bad thing? being the first to get into a car accident still makes you the first but it’s not something to look forward to. I trust the management and the community will make the right decision despite my apprehension of the idea, maybe it’s just unfounded.
