You answered your question yourself, what do you expect to read?
I don’t see a question anywhere in my post.
Would make sense if power companies accepted crypto currencies as payment.

If this is no question, what else is it?

A statement. The clue is the lack of a question mark. :P

A question without a question mark is still a question … what a waste of time;-)

A statement looks like the OP…

“Would make sense if power companies accepted crypto currencies as payment.”

The introduction of an “it” and a “?” such as “Would it make sense if power companies accepted crypto currencies as payment?” would make it a question. ;D ;D

But then i did rubbish in English at school so could be wrong. ;)

Haha Markus… time of the month or wife/gf cut you off? Your posts are increasingly cranky lately.

I admit Markus it could have been worded better. As Nutnut pointed out the introduction of an “It” would have been more clear:

“It would make sense if power companies accepted crypto currencies as payment.”

                      I stand corrected. :)

I didn’t take it personally. And even though I don’t know you, I’m sorry for your loss. I lost a friend recently too, cardiac arrest, he was barely into his 40’s.
