Transaction stuck at 0 confirmations...

Hi everyone,
I was trying to send some FTC but it is stuck at 0 confirmations and it has been more than 30 mins now. I am pretty sure this is not normal. Does anyone know what can I do to resolve this?
I have 0.6.4.4 client and the client is all synced up.

I did not include any transaction fee, how do you do that?
The transaction has gone through now, I don’t know how much time it took but I left it overnight and everything seems fine. Thanks for the concern though…

Quit the qt and start it up again with --resync

I didn’t know about the transaction fee thing at first, until I had a sizable BTC transfer delayed 18 hours because of it. It kept getting pushed to the back of the queue - from what I could tell any BTC transaction which included a fee jumped in front of mine in priority. It eventually went through, but, lesson learned.
