The Color Grey

All text in the forum is a bleak dead grey color. I can barely read it.
How about darkening it a little?Also a minor thing, the quick reply box is hidden by default. It shouldn’t be so.

[/quote]I think you can only switch between a few pre-defined themes. I actually wanted the default theme with a darker text color. :D

Yes you have a choice of three default the legacy one and the install default for the forum.
But it does allow you to change it I’ve just been and previewed all these themes

I understand you can change theme, thanks for telling me about that.
I was saying that the default theme needs to have darker text, and that cannot be changed in the look and feel.
But maybe it can in which case I am the one who’s not understanding. -
No I understand completely you want darker text.
The only way I can see to do that is to change the theme hence me previous posts. So if you really want it darker try one of those.

[/quote]The other themes have darker text than the default theme.
And I’ve switched just now to the Curve theme.

Someone should have a look in simple machine forum addons to see if it has themes/functionality for people with bad sight etc.
Making it “userfriendly” for colorblind/weak sight out of box will surely make it look hidiouse for people with normal eyesight. But an easy change button however -
