BTC-e is so manipulated

The pumps are quite predictable really (poor sods who actually [i]pay[/i] that Fontas dude for “inside info”) but the sheer scope of this one across just about every altcoin on BTC-e is interesting. Evidently BTC is becoming too big to easily push around.
I believe that the mini BTC crash around the 19th was an attempt to repeat the April crash instead it failed miserably because there was no panic. Gox tanking will make people on other exchanges look up, but with the huge volume on BTC China, Stamp and BTC-e you can’t really tank BTC anymore without a serious coordinated effort. I’m sure we’ll get that sooner or later, though.Right now they just went after scrypt coins, all right by me, making a killing with the mining operation. If they want to pump, fine, I sell into it from start to finish and hoard when they dump. At this stage I don’t think they are doing the currencies any harm…au contraire, it draws a lot of attention. Right now crypto is not really currency anyway but just a place to store value like gold is.

In the alt coins section’s where I spent most of my days
Chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool
Trading on BTC-e cause I wasn’t no fool
When a couple of guys, they were up to no good
Started pump n dumpin’ in my neighbourhood
I made some awful shitty choices and then I got scared
Lost a bunch of BTC and had to leave home for some fresh air. -
