How do I modify the GPU range so it doesn’t wobble down to 501 MHZ?

The card is a BEAST (nearly 1.5 Mh/s), but it’s a shy beast.

I have 13.11 fglrx. ADL does not work in cgminer. AMDOverdriveCtrl for Linux can’t modify anything but the fan speed on it. aticonfig can modify only the high performance setting, not the other lower setting.

BY THE WAY: DO NOT USE SDK 2.9 - lol my system was caused to shut down for 3 days. I’ve heard 2.8 sucks as well.

I am too much of a coward to flash the BIOS.

Sadly, radeonvolt can’t mmap the voltage regulator on 7990. It’s great for my 2 wobbly 5970s though. Selling those by the way.

Are you using “auto-gpu”? This flag actually will try to lower your clock speed to help with cooling.

in cgminer? ADL doesn’t work so fan, gpu funcs don’t work.
