As the title asks, im looking for accurate info on these asic usb miners, i mean for £50 of ebay with a 333k/hash if that works surely this is teh best way to go.

Anyway advice on if these work, and perhaps suggestions on particular ones and where best to get them,

      cheers folks.

They work great. They’ll earn you your money back on them at the present valuation of $1,134, at… let’s see… never.

The cost of power alone, assuming your hardware is a sunk cost, is about 131 dollars over the next year. Since they’ll only earn you about 8 cents worth of Bitcoins, you’re better off taking that 131 and buying coins on an exchange.

yea i bought a few of these about 4 months ago @ 20 dollars each. Then sold mine for about 30 each. The hype has driven them up in cost because people are buying them left and right expecting to make money mining. The truth is… 50 dollars each is a huge rip off. These are a great tool to learn with but that is about it.

So for mining feathercoin, would you say its better to invest in say an ATI card for a few of these USB asics?
