I’m curious about the actions going on which are going to bring more puplicity and at the end the FTC/USD exchange for the FTC. I think that’s really important, so how is FTC able to get such achievement? Like WORLDCOIN today they rose ~90% for the announcement they are getting a USD exchange on BTC38. Is the staff/team working on more exchange possibilities (and if so, how?)? As one of first with such ‘‘real’’ currency exchange and fast transactions it will gain lots and lots of attention.

TL;DR it wasn’t too long; what are the plans on making us more interesting than the other currencies with more ftc/exchanges?

/edit as we speak the downside of the immense rise has come to the surface again, people cashing their WORLDCOINS and it fell from +90 to +30.

If a major exchange I could trust[ish] added FTC/USD I’d be far more likely to make a direct purchase.

Thats a start, but I’ve been on the site several times and did not see a very active things happening. Will it be as simple as pounds/ftc?

FTC/FIAT would be a great way to seperate ourselves from the /BTC drag down. I say that but LTC has fiat pairs and it still is dragged down by btc. :|

Imo that’s because it’s still seen as a BTC-crypto and not really a currency on its own. This might sound logic since it it a btc-crypto, but the newer interest in coins will be pushed in the long run because of it’s easier relation to fiats.

My head is empty and my English is going rubbish, sorry for sometimes not making sense lol.

They are introducing FTC/Pounds as far as I know.

In America CoinMKT.com allows FTC/USD among others. It’s a Beta project so expect some delays but it works.

I’ve been using crypto-trade.com for a while which has FTC/BTC and FTC/USD and you can use PayPal to withdraw cash.

Thanks for the sites! Maybe it helps if all these exchange sites for FTC are listed somewhere more general (even a slide on the homepage on the redesign could be possible). Imo it will show more trustworthy ‘‘value’’ to the coin when newcomers will find such sites easily and won’t hesitate for jumping into this community with them being scared there’s no way they could sell their ftc whenever they want.

Maybe it can go on the chatbox page where it says “0.25 GBP 0.42 USD 0.30 EUR”

Maybe

Coinmkt: 0.6 USD
Crypto-Trade : 0.4 USD

and so on.

I might like the idea of having the thingy which is in the chat right now being placed on the homepage like mtgox. Loud and clear!

Still wondering what the team is doing to get this done. Has there been sent a mail to btc-e to get a ftc/usd on the exhange?!

Crypto-Trade trades FTC/USD

but not sure if its trustworthy…

it would be really nice to have btc-e allow FTC/USD trading, but i don’t think its in the works.

Which team is that again?

If you’re waiting for someone to send BTC-e an email saying, “You should add FTC/USD pairs.”, then don’t wait. Just do it yourself. If everyone did this, they might listen. A hundred small voices is much MUCH much louder than one “official” one.

This is a short-term behavior .Today, WDC fall 50%, BTC38 post :In the future a new on-line currency trading, it is likely to open directly, without advance notice.
