Has anyone had problems with riser cables? I got 5 of these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA0U00YV6403 Cards power up but no video and motherboard does not see them, on board kicks in. I can plug directly in and no problem.

Mine are similar but modified to add power straight to the card. The tutorial is around here somewhere and I would highly recommend doing it. It solved alot of my issues with a 4 card setup.

Thats all great but not my issue and I do have powered ones coming in a week or so. My issue is I get NOTHING out of the GPUs, board does not see and they don’t output video. With just one GPU connected via riser there is still nothing. I was wondering if anyone had an issue like that where the cards would not work on the riser.

Maybe low quality soldering?
You can test with cheap multimeter if every pin is conected to opposite side.

Did that, every pin works end to end. Just strange! I guess I’m the only one whos had issues? I hope to get the powered cables in soon.
