So I received my second Gigabyte 7950 today and immediately put it in my rig. Everything seems to work fine however whenever I try mining this shows up…
Started Cgminer 3.7.2
      Probing for an alive pool
Pool 0 difficulty changed to 32
      Network diff set to 174
Error -4: Enqueueing kernel onto command queue.
      GPU 1 failure, disabling!
Error -4: Enqueueing kernel onto command queue.
      GPU 0 failure, disabling!
So I have very little experience experimenting with cgminer so I would love if any of you could help me figure out what is wrong. My OS is Windows 7 and the scrypt is…
-scrypt -o stratum+tcp://stratum.wemineftc.com:4444 -u [Super Secret] -p [Super Secret] -I 20 --gpu-powertune 10
How much ram do you have in your rig?

8GB so I would be surprised if the RAM was the problem

Yeah, 8gb should do it. It’s sort of hard to diagnose without all the details though. Maybe you could post your specs and someone might be able to help out?

adding a fixed tc value to you cgminer line might eventually help.

                Two things to try;

Lower intensity.

Run without intensity flag -I and look at the bin file names cgminer generates. Find the numbers after the ‘tc’ letters in the bin file name to get a thread concurrency estimate.
Regards, Richard.

I have been running into this a lot lately. My issue has been too high of a tc for the amount of RAM. Now, I have been trying to run on less than 4gb, so really a different situation.

However, if all else fails, you could try lowering you tc to 1, 2, or 3x your shaders and see if you can get by the error.

Simple solution I found was just switching to a 64-bit OS ;D

That makes sense as win 7 only supports 4gb max in non x64 flavors. So you running better now?

Cards are running very hot at the 660 kh/s that I should be getting so until I get risers I lowered the intensity a bit so I am getting 600 kh/s but other than that I am good! Probably wouldn’t even be able to get that much if I wasn’t using windforce.
