You might get the following email that I got :'(

"Dear Customer,

We’re writing to inform you that your order xxx-xxx-xxx from DreamPriceFactory has been cancelled by the seller. Please rest assured that you have not been charged for this order.

The item(s) you purchased were out of stock. Usually, our Marketplace Sellers maintain accurate inventories, but occasionally the availability of a listed item will change by the time an order is placed."

So im back searching.

Whats a good alternative to the seasonic and XFX ?

Heres a question…

Would it be a stupid idea to get 2 of these and hook them up together?

Hi Guys,

Sorry for coming back to this thread but I’m really struggling with the PSU and finding one.
Twice I have ordered two different PSU’s from amazon and twice the order has been cancelled due to the item not being in stock.

I have 3 x Sapphire AMD HD7970 to power plus other components.

I have looked at Seasonic 1250w, xfx 1250w and OCZ 1250w. Cannot find them anywhere.

Can anyone suggest another brand I should be considering and if I actually need a 1250w.

Thanks.

Corsair and Zalman are two brands I’ve got a lot of good experience with. YMMV.

I read you burnt out your GPU’s with a Corsair, is that correct?

No, I upgraded to a Corsair after burning out my GPU with a crappy stock PSU. Won’t make that mistake again!

Oh ok, I’m glad I asked about that, that was the only thing putting me off a Corsair, the fact I thought you burnt out your cards with it, Ill go ahead and order a “Corsair AX1200” now. Plenty in stock.

Thanks Kevlar.

I’m running an EVGA SuperNova G2 1300W at the moment, and it’s been running for 10 days 24/7 without any problems. All my stability problems went away once it was installed.

I know 10 days isn’t long in the scheme of things, but it’s doing well and is not getting warm, or running the nuts off it’s fan so maybe worth a look

If you are looking for a Seasonic PSU, you can go with a be quiet! Dark Power Pro 10 1200w. It is manufactured by Seasonic for be quiet!

Also, try to avoid OCZ for now. They filed for bankruptcy and you may be out of luck if you need to use your warranty. Wait to see what comes of the company before purchasing anything from the OCZ brand for awhile.
