[/quote]Stablecoin came back from the dead and is introducing a mixing service. I got in shortly after the Dev came back and now just watching and waiting. It was amazing how fast things picked back up, mainly due (IMHO) to Hazard semi-endorsing the coin around that same time. Not much of a community from what I’ve seen, but I don’t keep up with it religiously. Everything seems to be hinging on whether the Dev can produce this mixing service he’s touting on the forum.
HoboNickels I got into after learning about how/why it was created (from a Cryptsy chat) and I found the 100%+ stake interesting. The client allows for multiple wallets and the coin is pretty fast. I liked what I saw out of the community, but I didn’t go that deep into their forum.
Recently though, I’m beginning to think about AnonCoin. I can’t believe how fast that coin jumped from .30 USD to $5 or so and it’s held for the most part. They seem to be serious about implementing ZeroCoin, but they have shown nothing but talk as far as I know. I saw an update from them a few days ago and it sounds like they’re pretty much still at the drawing board due to the changes in ZeroCoin protocol.
By now, I thought Matthew Green would have his own altcoin out featuring ZeroCoin protocol, but I’ve not seen an update out of him or the ZC Project (has anyone else?).

Do you think we might be interested in implementing Zerocoin?

[/quote]Green and the ZCP decided to make their own altcoin.
My hope all along was the FTC would implement ZC, but that is not going to happen :-\ judging by the discussions I’ve been part of on this forum … unless another Dev comes along and decides he wants to implement it for teh Feather. That’s the situation as I know it, if it’s different … by all means someone clue us in please.
Implementing ZC would be a huge undertaking and I don’t think there are very many people in this world who could handle the code, have the time to do it, do it for free and be willing to do/absorb all of that while sitting in the back seat.
That’s just my opinion, I’ve been known to be wrong on occassion (see Reddit).

I’ll throw this out there, since it’s not talked about much here (except by Chrisj) … Feathercoin may be coming down on my list soon because I’m growing weary of putting so much faith into a coin who’s price has been/is still being manipulated by BTC-e (allegedly) and/or others to hold the price down and at times tank it with [s]accidents[/s] schemes.
Honestly, if another coin I held were being manipulated like this I’d have bailed already.
The next feature I’d like to see Feathercoin implement would be to rid BTC-e from the picture some how. ;)
… and judging how they do business, that may not take much effort on anyone else’s part.

[/quote]Interesting… I just woke and need to head off to work, but when I get back this arvo, I’ll respond in a bit more depth.
What’s your case against BTC-e? Would leaving btc-e increase the price of ftc?
With the leaps and bounds in the mining tech area, shouldn’t the coin increase in value irregardless?
Also, I’m not in support of coloured coins but could coin mixing be a bad thing?
How is ftc been manipulated? Is keeping the price low for now really that bad of a thing? Surely it is inevitable that the price will rise even if we sat back and made no further developments?

CAT - CatCoin (the community is a f**king nightmare! Terrible launch, bickering, forking - 3 lives down, 6 to go!)and of course, the almighty BTC!
I also hold stakes in the following:
MonaCoin (Nice wallet splash screen - it’s the important things that matter!)
ICoin (I tested solo mining with a wallet when it launched - much profitability - wow!)
Coinye (In case i need cred wid da yootz)
LiveCoin (UK devs, but generated from coingen.io :o - It’s a pure punt - I must be mad, but they seem deadly serious, I wish them luck!)I don’t hold any DogeCoin but I rate it very highly. BTC is what the older alts are traded against, DOGE is the defacto standard for the newer alts, and it’s also the most profitable coin to mine. That’s quite an achievement in 1 month and they show no sign of disappearing. Just had an upward bounce in the last few days.

FTC Feathercoin, this fellow sometimes expand my BTC portfolio and he has best forum ever.
PXC Phoenixcoin, this mate is performing very well (not as his spoiled brother Phenixcoin). It is my ultimate pump and dump coin.
GRC Gridcoin, this is my black horse, the coin I mine.
Currently searching for some new coin to join the team!Ok, it might be better to talk about coin as girl, not boy, but I am not rewriting the whole post :P
