There seems to be a requirement for a merchant local payment server application. Such that a merchant can take a SMS text message with a coin address and amount, create the transaction and possibly, SMS a confirmation, or have one recorded.

      1. Has anyone seen a similar application, say for Bitcoin.
      2. If not is there something similar that could be the basis of an adaptation, to enable easy coin transactions in the third world?

      3. Is there another easier solution to paying by phone? Is SMS payment viable for 3rd world adoption at some level? If so what level, and are there any mentors / contacts asking for this?
