I don’t know maybe it’s just me but i think coins like the Coinye coin and Doge coin hurt crypto. The people that think it’s a joke or are not certain if it’s a legit thing, see these coins and laugh. I’m sure it also fuels the fire for people who think crypto is a big joke that wont last.
If we want people to take crypto currency serious, and except them at shops/stores, people need to stop making garbage coins like this.This is just my opinion I could be wrong.

[/quote]Nope, you’re not alone. I used to think that too. In fact I felt that very strongly.
I’ve since changed my tune. This is practice for the real thing. Yes, it hurts the crypto image, but it also helps people get involved in it, learn about it, and find out what doesn’t work and why. A coin failing is a learning experience that leaves people wiser than when they started… wiser about important things which are absolutely critical for crypto-currency to succeed. People NEED to be allowed to innovate, and they NEED to experiment with this. If you don’t have that, you are back to having oppressive regimes and centralization.
Experimentation is ultimately good long term, even though it may negatively impact some short-term goals.

Someone else did pick up the coin (last I read) and they are trying to keep it going (so they can cash out too, lulz) and I saw an offer (not sure if it’s real) to Kanye for 100,000,000 COYE or something.
I think they’re making a movie about this coin experience starring Sean Penn called, [b]Dead Coin Hashing[/b].

It hurts Crypto, because the only news we hear is about BTC and some scamcoin named Coinye.
Unfortunatelly there are more coins which are bad for the "imago " of crypto.
But that is my opinion.
(also pump and dump is killing the crypto’s longterm)
