[/quote]Thats the thing, the politicians that is gonna enforce and regulate these things have not a clue what crypto actually is.
They only know that bitcoin exists it seems, so when they talk, they always talk bitcoin, and that the next tax fill out should have a line to cover bitcoin income/earnings.
If someone told em that guess what, crypto is bigger than just bitcoin i think they would throw a fit.can’t wait for them to realize that if they are gonna cover crypto they need a line for each of em like: sexcoin,shitcoin,drugcoin,anoncoin,weeds,hobo nickels,dragon coin,beercoin and whatever else kinda crap names that is out there

[/quote]They would probably just bundle them all in under one catagory of alternative digital currencies to simplify things. Then maybe use the current market cap to calculate the weighting of the individual coin.

[/quote]there is supposed to be paid tax on purchases with it, and tax on the “earning” of it, which means not the total amount of coins, but the profit part.
To estimate that you need to track the entire freaking loop of transactions, to see sell/buy orders, and so on. Its gonna be a shitstorm for em. or for me:P -
So if they want to tax earnigs I suppose [b]they will also partly cover loses with some returns![/b]
