Also, i need to call the police. cause now i have an caravan in the driveway, with alot of fan noise, 3x16amp wires running to it (+ethernet), all windows duck taped to shield against sun (and look)… It looks like I’m growing something.
Yup, you might want to get a move on that, or at least in the States you would. More than a few anecdotes of hash farms getting raided purely based on higher power consumption in questionable conditions because cops thought it was a grow op.

Actually the crates worked really nice for those cards.
First tried with asus matrix cards but they overheated due to the cooler air movement.
The Sapphire 280X, and especially the toxic like it in there.
The case has two x120 thats ideally placed so it changes the air between the cards.

This is possibly the greatest thing I have ever seen. Are you worried about security?
Nah, the caravan is not road worthy. two cars are parked in front of it so no one can just hock it up and run with it.
gonna install sensors in i real soon and connect it to my house alarm system.

Been thinking about it all during night sleep:)

I have 3x 20CM holes in the bottom.
That super fan pushes 1220m^3 air pr hour.

If i just leaves the holes on the floor, and install that extractor in the ceiling, those wholes in the floor should autosuck alot of air due to the pressure created by the exhaust fan.
Need to look up the possibility to make an air roof hat on the caravan. (what the police would subscribe as being filtering system… man gotta call em ;D)

Nice Sven! Have you measured the DB levels? Each of my rig + fan = 95-100DB~
DB level isnt that bad, havent measured it, but its not bad.
Until i turn on that bloody superfan, then its looooud. You can hear the fan from 100m away from caravan! i shit you not! gotta find an regulator to adjust the RPM for that thing.

Had some heat issues in my caravan,
So i did some modifications ;D Now i really have to call the police for an inspection…
200mm drain tubes (one 90degree and one 30 degree put together to make an roof chimney)
Under it is the super fan connected pushing through 1220 cubic meter of air pr hour!

I also plugged the middle hole on the floor, and sealed all the vent channels, making it become an pressure in the room that sucks air from the two 20cm holes on each end where the rigs are (now i feel the suction when i open the door ;D)

So what happened with the temperature?
Room temp went from 35degrees to 25degrees (measured close to the ceiling where its warmest).
All the cards got 5-10 degrees cooler. Success! now i can have more rigs in there!!!

Hey.
I have a caravan standing in the driveway.
This is used to house various computer equipment.

The reason I’m contacting you is because it all looks VERY suspicious.
With 3x power on, taped up all the windows (protect from sunlight) and audible fan noise from an industrial fan that leads into a 200mm diameter large self-made louvers …

To be honest I get breaking bad connotations to the whole look, and it all
looks basically like marijuana production.

Therefore do I contact you now when I expect that in the long run so get someone to call in that it all looks suspicious, If you wish to inspect / check that there is no any crime simply take a trip to visit :)

I have a simple question: why nobody installs a system of air conditioning? is it because it makes the air too humid?

It’s not humidity, it’s cost.

If you use an air conditioning system you’ll have to invest about 0.9 watt per watt of heat you generate and want to get out.

Basically you double your power cost.

yup, exactly.
try removing 8kW of heat with an aircon.
you will need a bigass aircon! i tried with an portable one.
could not even handle 4.5kw of heat…
