Right so hopefully this week I should get a couple of delivery’s to start the build of another rig 8) this one is going to be very different thou, I’m not going to say to much here as this is not what this thread is about, but…

In doing so I will have another complete setup minus GPUs for now, that I can

      a) test the card that started to give me problems
      b) once a) is sorted, see how low I can really push my luck with undervolting :)

So I will keep you updated on that.

If your wondering about temps, and fan speeds after the undervolting after the H/W issues I still have a card running 1.2v in my rig, I’ll sort it later in the week when I get time to but it (GPU0) used to be roughly the same as GPU2 the numbers now are

      GPU0 Temp 71[sup]o[/sup] Fan 54%
      GPU2 Temp 71[sup]o[/sup] Fan 45%

I haven’t forgotten that someone was after a cgminer.conf dump, I just don’t have that level of access to this rig at the moment, it’s on my todo list

      UM

Will have to check that out, bud!

Wow, I really need to undervolt my cards.
It’s been hitting 35C to 40C in the afternoon.
My cards are recording temperatures of 84C even with GPU Fan set to 100% and a standing fan hitting them at full blast.

Undervolted my cards to 1.081 but hashrates at 730khash/sec :'(
Good temperatures though. 73C, looks promising.

EDIT: Made a few changes. Now mining at steady 755khash/sec at 1075MHz core clock and 1500MHz memory clock. Same 1.081v

Anyone know of a windows program to regulate the voltage?
Starting to think my sapphire 280x toxic are voltage locked:(

My asus matrix cards had no issue with the asus gpu tweak utility (windows).
But was limited how low i could set em.

Mining on MSI R9 280X GAMING cards.
Hovers around 730khash/sec when I’m actively browsing the net while mining.
