One Year Birthday Meetup

Firstly. Apologies for the absence. Working hard and real life commitments have been my focus for the last two months. Not going to bore any of you with anymore tedious details.
Anyway…
Had a chat with Ruthie a few days ago and we discussed meetups for the one year anniversary of your favorite crypto currency.
The one year mark will take place at the end of April and we are considering a drink or many then. So I would like to canvas your ideas.
My thoughts are a weekend in Oxford. For those who want to rock up early… Meet in Oxford on a Friday evening… a few drinks and plenty of banter. Saturday for the day at the Oxford Blue and then maybe the night in town (Oxford).
As said, just thoughts. If I could canvas suggestions from anyone else who might feel inclined to get involved? Just pop em down in this thread and we can see what we can do.

Yes, the time is coming around quickly and in no time it’ll be our one year anniversary…
The plan so far is to have a meet up to celebrate our birthday at The Oxford Blue in Oxford UK.

We’re looking at the last Saturday in April which is 26th.

I’m in for some of the weekend :)
Hopefully we should have someone from Prostate Cancer UK coming to join us for the presentation of the donation after the fundraising has been complete :) I have a couple of other things I wanted to do to try and top the fund up a little more, but will talk to Chris, Ruthie, and Bush this weekend about them before we say anymore about it.

I am not sure about the Friday before yet, but I will be looking at stopping in Oxford on Saturday night to come home Sunday. I have got to work on my wife for the Friday night, two nights out on the lash is going to go down like a lead balloon LOL. ;)

Anyone thinking of traveling… the Hostel is pretty plush, I’ve stayed there twice and is by the train station. It is about 15 mins walk from the pub.

Calem and I were Skyping this morning and thought a nice way to include everyone across the Globe in the one year birthday celebration by setting up a 24 - 48 hour google hangouts session, so where there are 2 or 3 of you gathered by we can all tap into google hangouts throughout the weekend to say “hi” to each other, even if you can not gather at a location with others you can log in and say “hi” from your home :)
