Been running a half a day so far and seems to be stable.

I still have not figured out why the 2 rigs produce different results yet.

Rig 1 : 2 x sapphire R9 290 on an PK5 motherboard

Rig 2 : 2 x sapphire R9 290 on an Asus Sabertooth 990fx

Both rigs have 850 PSU and run on the exact same setting. Setting in bold are changed from the default values of http://rumorscity.com/2013/12/03/litecoin-gpu-mining-with-amd-r9-290-and-r9-290x-sweet-spot-for-1000khashsec/

Rig 1 gives out a whopping 950 khs and WU of 1850
Rig 2 however is at 850 with WU of 1600+

Temp around 60-75 with fan at 75 % and basement window open.

So if anybody know of any setting on the sabertooth that can be tweeked please do share some knowledge.

Can you list the hash rates of each card. Thx I am not sure if youre getting 950 from both cards or just one.

On the Sabertooth rig

Card 1 851 / 812 WU
Card 2 851 /785 WU

PK5

Card 1

935 / WU 901

Card 2

940 / WU 917

On booth they do jump around a bit, from 1590 WU to 1650 on the sabertooth rig and 1800 - 1875 WU on the PK5 rig.

???

And on the Sabertooth motherboard it really helped to choose high power mode rather than power saving mode. >:(

Both running similar speeds of 920 - 950 ish with WU about 1750-1800

So if anybody else have this mob. Do choose the fire icon setting in bios.

Ahhh wow. I am gonna go check my mobo. I have a 990fx lol!!

I heard that sometimes lowering the resolution helps with under-performing set ups. Never tried to do it though.
