I never eat breakfast unless I get up obscenely early and my stomach wakes up . I tried white pudding for the first time this year… oh white pudding, where have you been all my life? Mmm. Black Pudding, White Pudding, Potato Cakes, Fried eggs, bacon and a nice black coffee.
nom nom nom.

Haha, like most week day mornings I had cereal because it’s quick :)
Let’s post what we’d like at the week end and aim at that for something a little more exciting, I’ve never had white pudding but that doesn’t mean I’m gonna try it, I’ll look it up first ;)

I have terrible eating habits by not eating till lunch, but Sunday is always a fry up :P

You can keep both the black and white puddings, but the rest of it sounds like what I’m going to have to sort out tomorrow :D
and don’t get me started on coffee! I love the stuff, can’t live without it… K goes mad because I spend about £70 a month on the nesspresso website, but I did manage to get her into it last week on holiday so hopefully her attitude will change :D

Then you should definitely try some Italian roast coffee, grind it (or have it grind) to a couple steps above the finest and brew your Moka coffee… best if you have a real Espresso machine. Coffee in Japan tastes more or less like wastewater so I suffered the first year trying to blend the perfect mix!! Oohh… when I found that sweet spot! I didn’t sleep for a couple days!
BTW, breakfast this morning: Finely sliced chicken (skin on), onions, fresh jalapeno pepper slice and black pepper stir fired for 3 or 4 minutes!

I have a couple of friends who have the complete machine like you see in the coffee shop, but that is way to much messing around for me. The Nesspresso is a very good compromise and produces very little mess :)
Thats not breakfast man! thats lunch ;) but sounds like an interesting taste combination. I might have to go to the shop a bit later and see what I can find for my lunch :D
Just discovered no bacon in the fridge, so going to have to work something different out for this morning and park MrWyrm idea till tomorrow

We have tabletop espresso machines in italy… the same size of a nespresso. Tey sell for less than 100euros!

Black Pudding is Blood Sausage. I think White Pudding is like a vegetarian version made with oats and herbs. It’s very nice.
You want the Black pudding with the big white fatty lumps in it too. We have an abundance of great local black pudding round here.

I LOVE blood sausage… didn’t know that was called black pudding in english! I was thinking of the pudding as a sort of soup…
If you have foods like that you guys should definitely spread english food around the world! -

The best black pudding comes in cake like slabs rather than in round sausage form.

Because it was Christmas, I already had in the Waberthwaite Cumberland (thin) sausage (rather than chipolata) and Streaky Bacon.

Now Cumberland sausage that’s the way to go, I had family up in the lakes, and always went to the local butcher and brought some home with me :)

One small point is white pudding is not vegetarian its made of pork and fat and stuff. But no blood. :-)
