Every penny mate, get those badboy’s mining you’ve got yourself a 3Mh/s rig there @ 960 watts, cool and quiet as well…

Hmm!! I really wanna! I already have 2 rigs set up at work, getting just over 5 MH/s mining on ftc.nut2pools.com

I dont pay electrics because I mine at work, problem is people at work would get pissy with me if I was to setup a 3rd RIG.

I used to run a rig at work hidden in the server room. The IT manager and I had 1 each. We had 2 x 290x cards in two coolermaster cases on top of the server racks.

Even with 4.8 Million fans on the case the cards sat at 94 degrees the whole time, nothing beats an open aired rig…

Maybe if its for home use where you would be paying for power its worth looking at the Nvidia 750ti

Am I to understand that these fatter memory 270x models (4GB in some cases) are still only netting 500KHs because of the architecture?

I’m not seeing any 270x Toxics on NewEgg right now. May go full 750ti.

Also, 750ti is rated at 60W a card, right? So I should be safe with an 80 Gold 650W for 5-6 of them, right?

            DONN’T MATTAH DID IT ANYWAY

Wow when you say whole hog you are not joking!

But yes 60w per card I’ve got a three gigabyte card rig running happily.

I would get more RAM in case you ever want to run a high TC or use a RAM dependant algo like Scrypt-Jane.

Might be JUUUUST a bit shy on power. If it’s gold rated then 80% of 650 is 520watts. Cards drawing 360 watts. System around 100-150 watts. Might want to go the next step up, perhaps 750w or something…

Why not to buy the Asrock H81 or H61 BTC main board these are about €50 each an CPU Intel 1150/1155 cheapest is also €40

                    You need risers also

Got any experience with them? I read a lot of mixed reviews about these Mobo’s on NewEgg, the UD3 is a safe bet…

ha ha! Amazing, yeah…I asked my datacenter manager if I could put my rigs in our DC…he said no…power would cost too much.

At work in the office tho, our building contract includes electricity, so we pay the same amount no matter how much we use…so boom! 5 mh/s for me!

                          I like uniformity.

I bought 14 of those from Vantacor. $9.25 a piece with free shipping. The long ones, even.

I considered throwing some on the NewEgg order but all the 3rd party dealers that go through them were rated as slow and unreliable.
